In this new pro­gramme by MA Festival and Behoud de Begeerte, lit­er­a­ture and music come togeth­er in a rit­u­al per­for­mance. The title refers to an eccle­si­as­ti­cal tra­di­tion: an antiphon, derived from ancient Greek, is a verse sung as an intro­duc­tion to, or con­clu­sion of, a psalm dur­ing the Mass. For this inau­gur­al edi­tion, two renowned authors and a singer explore the theme of ​‘temp­ta­tion’, per­form­ing amidst the audi­ence. The result is an extra­or­di­nary col­lec­tive exer­cise in thought that stim­u­lates all the sens­es — a con­tem­pla­tive space that res­onates deeply, offer­ing solace for both mind and heart.
