In La Divina Commedia, a num­ber of trou­ba­dours pass before our eyes. While not all these medieval ​“Orphei” even­tu­al­ly made it to heav­en, they obvi­ous­ly were in Dante’s good books. The promis­ing young tal­ents of the Sollazzo Ensemble explore the impact of the Occitan trou­ba­dour reper­toire on Dante and the Trecento madrigal.
