Versions by Geminiani and Rasmussen find an amus­ing echo in Keiser’s Der lächer­liche Prinz Jodelet. Musical mad­ness and agi­ta­tion also reign supreme in Vivaldi’s con­cer­to L’Inquietudine and in Zelenka’s unortho­dox Hipocondrie.
