Curious about Mind &Body, the theme of MA Festival 2021? During this fes­ti­val intro­duc­tion, dra­maturge Lalina Goddard intro­duces us to the cen­turies-old argu­ment over the divi­sion between mind and body. Together we fol­low in the foot­steps of philoso­pher René Descartes and explore the influ­ence of the phys­i­cal ​‘pas­sions’, from blind rage to ecsta­t­ic longings.
