Julien Libeer & Korneel Bernolet
Couperin, Mozart & Ravel

In this duo recital, pianist Julien Libeer and harpsichordist Korneel Bernolet bring us Le Tombeau de Couperin, an iconic piano work composed by Maurice Ravel as a tribute to the 18th-century harpsichord suite. Ravel’s work, played by Libeer on piano, is interwoven with the music of the famous Couperin dynasty – including compositions by Louis, François and Armand-Louis Couperin – performed by Bernolet on harpsichord. In between, the two keyboardists join forces on the pianoforte for a four-handed Mozart sonata.
Music by Maurice Ravel (1875−1937), François Couperin (1668−1733), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756−1791) and others
