In this duo recital, pianist Julien Libeer and harp­si­chordist Korneel Bernolet bring us Le Tombeau de Couperin, an icon­ic piano work com­posed by Maurice Ravel as a trib­ute to the 18^th-cen­tu­ry harp­si­chord suite. Ravel’s work, played by Libeer on piano, is inter­wo­ven with the music of the famous Couperin dynasty – includ­ing com­po­si­tions by Louis, François and Armand-Louis Couperin – per­formed by Bernolet on harp­si­chord. In between, the two key­boardists join forces on the pianoforte for a four-hand­ed Mozart sonata.
