The Klinck Trio con­sists of vio­lin­ist Elisabeth Klinck, sax­o­phon­ist Adia Vanheerentals and key­boardist Maya Dhondt. The trio formed when Klinck want­ed to find out what would hap­pen if oth­ers immersed them­selves in her musi­cal world, each accord­ing to their own musi­cal prac­tice. Together, the three musi­cians explore the tac­til­i­ty of their instru­ments. They let them meld and inter­twine, play­ing with space, silence and tex­ture but also with the emo­tions sound can evoke. Especially for this con­cert, Younger than Jesus Elisabeth Klinck has com­posed new work, based on sev­er­al Bach cantatas.
