InAlto explores the thrilling Libro de tien­tos by the 17^th-cen­tu­ry com­pos­er Correa de Arauxo. Apart from his own work, the book con­tains ref­er­ences to Iberian icons such as Antonio de Cabezón and to mas­ters of Franco-Flemish polypho­ny. Inspired by the Libro de tien­tos, the con­cert spans 200 years of music, from Josquin des Prez’s Ave Maria to Correa’s inno­v­a­tive ​‘tien­tos’.
