The ensem­ble Br. pairs the swing­ing panache of folk music to the sound world of his­tor­i­cal instru­ments. In the com­pa­ny of mez­zo-sopra­no Luciana Mancini, the musi­cians indulge in songs and dances from ear­ly Scandinavia. The kalei­do­scop­ic arrange­ments by vio­lin­ist Krishna Nagaraja give free reign to the full colour chart of folk and baroque music.
