With pieces that have moved people of all eras, from high up in the Belfry honorary city carillonneur Frank Deleu touches the hearts and souls of his listeners. He performs (his own) arrangements, which range from intimate lute songs by John Dowland and Henry Purcell to the abundant pathos of Richard Wagner’s Isoldes Liebestod. This carillon concert ends with a unique arrangement of Für Alina by the Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.
