Ensemble Correspondances infil­trates into the French Baroque the­atre and presents a cre­ation around the Ballet Royal de la Nuit (1653), an extrav­a­gant spec­ta­cle with which Cardinal Mazarin launched the fif­teen-yearold Louis XIV onto the polit­i­cal and artis­tic scene.
