(Fallen) Angels

Inspired by the Book of Revelation, the Ghislieri Choir & Consort devotes a programme to good and bad, to rebellion and redemption. The ensemble unveils a number of late polyphonic pearls from the 18th century. Perez’ Mottetto in festo Sancti Michaelis Archangeli, Zerafa’s Improperia, and Jannacconi’s adaptation of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater: all sacred works of a most theatrical nature.
