In Michelangelo Falvetti’s baroque ora­to­rio, Il Diluvio Universale (The Universal Flood), we hear the last cries of mankind as the Flood, at first a trick­le and then a tor­rent, breaks out with cho­rus and instru­ments. Leonardo García Alarcón and Cappella Mediterranea revive this unique work, in all its Sicilian pas­sion, after three cen­turies of silence.
