In Michelangelo Falvetti’s baroque oratorio, Il Diluvio Universale (The Universal Flood), we hear the last cries of mankind as the Flood, at first a trickle and then a torrent, breaks out with chorus and instruments. Leonardo García Alarcón and Cappella Mediterranea revive this unique work, in all its Sicilian passion, after three centuries of silence.
