Cappella Amsterdam is one of the leading chamber choirs in Europe, with a focus on old masters and new music. In this concert, the singers traverse the rich history of the requiem. They begin with the Gregorian Libera me and bring us through Brumel and Josquin to Ligeti’s ethereal Lux Aeterna and Dusapin’s hushed Umbrae Mortis.
