Vox Luminis takes us to 17^th-cen­tu­ry Rome, where the Counter-Reformation was rag­ing in full force. In the bat­tle for sal­va­tion com­posers such as Giacomo Carissimi were ful­ly deployed. Vox Luminis per­forms his ora­to­rio Jephte and Vanitas Vanitatum, along­side com­po­si­tions by Luigi Rossi, Domenico Mazzocchi and Kaspar Förster.
