Combing through the German Lutheran reper­toire, Clematis have select­ed a daz­zling col­lec­tion of 17^th cen­tu­ry laments and can­tatas by com­posers such as Johann Christoph Bach and Georg Böhm. The ethe­re­al voice of coun­tertenor Paulin Bündgen attests that music is of a high­er domain, adding tex­tu­al dra­ma to the colour­ful instrumentation.
